In our continuing efforts here at Write on Track to help you streamline your social media efforts and keep up to date with the news you need, I bring you the latest cool aggregate tool which I have been trying out this week.
Newsle finds articles about your friends and colleagues and notifies you minutes or hours after they’re published.
How It Works
• You sign up for Newsle and import your Facebook Friends or LinkedIn contacts.
• You can choose to follow politicians, CEOs, celebrities, and other people you’re interested in.
• Newsle will track your people continuously and let you know when they’re mentioned in any news article or blog post online.
This is a snapshot of part of my current Newsle feed which features an interview with Beatrice Whelan of Sage Ireland by Amanda Webb for Tweak Your Biz.com.
Another cool feature is that I can instantly send a tweet from the Newsle site to Beatrice.
Congrats on the article @beatricewhelan! newsle.com/article/0/5798… via @newsle

My only concern about this tool is that I may have too many email alerts in my inbox! But if this proves to be the case, I can always unsubscribe. For now I am looking forward to seeing how well Newsle streamlines my social media interactions and keeps me updated with the news I need.
