As our next #blogchatie falls on Valentine’s Day, we promised you a special love themed chat. So this Thursday our topic is all about falling in love .. with blogging.

In many ways blogging is a bit like falling in love (at least it was for me!).

Those first few days and weeks of starting your blog were  filled with anticipation, a sense of newness and possibilites. You felt passion for your blog.  You couldn’t wait to log on to add a new post, read comments and share your love.

Then the infatuation phase recedes. You find excuses not to visit your blog. Sometimes it’s a chore to go there. You start to question your relationship with your beloved (blog).

Now comes the hard work of building a (blogging) relationship. To make a success of your relationship you will need to draw deeper on your levels of commitment and time. You may need to go back to the early days of your relationship and find that passion again.

On Thursday’s #BlogChatIE we will discuss ways in which you can rekindle the passion for your blog. Even if you are still in love with your blog, a relationship grows stale if you don’t add a bit of variety now and again. So, we will be looking at ways in which you can do this.
