Increase Your Social Media Marketing Reach With Twilert

Want to increase your social media marketing reach? Then check out Twilert.com.

Twilert will send regular email updates of tweets containing  your brand name, your product name and any other keywords you sign up for. It is an effective way to monitor who is talking about you and your brand on Twitter and to increase your social media marketing reach. As an added bonus in the advanced settings, you can select the local area you would like to monitor too – great for marketing.

Here’s how it works.

1. Simply login with your Twitter or Google account.

2. Add your email

3. Create your twilert  and indicate the time you wish to receive daily emails.

Here’s one I set up for #BlogChatIE, our fortnightly tweet chat.

4. Now click on Advanced Settings.

5. Enter the details which will best maximize Twilert’s functionality for your specific marketing purposes. For example, let’s say you run a bakery which stocks gluten-free products and you are based in Limerick. Create gluten-free as one of your Twilerts and in the advanced settings, select asking a question within a chosen radius of your shop.  So, if someone tweets ” know anywhere that sells gluten-free bread in Limerick city?”  you are all set up to respond!

Once a Twilert is set up, it can be edited, turned on or off and you can set up more Twilerts at any time. Try it for yourself and do let us know if it works for you.

    That is very clever. At the moment I only use the search tag of #tags thst are related to our shop eg #kitchen in order to see if anything of relevance is coming up on twitter that i can engage with. The search might throw up something relevant but it’s a day old tweet – whereas this way it would be easier to keep on top of relevant tweets in a more timely way , without getting side tracked by being on twitter . The problem with all this social media is that it swallows up time so quickly so the more streamlined the engagement is with all these media forms , the better !
