Yes, it takes courage but it’s my motto now! It’s not easy to say yes to television coverage as it’s so cringeworthy watching yourself, I hate it. The one advantage of live TV is you just have to get on with it (and not feel compelled to watch)!

Yes, it helps them if they have it almost ready to go to print.
I just contacted a UK farming paper re including my book in a gift guide for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day (if they do them) so fingers crossed

Even though I don’t have a book I found this post really helpful in terms of attracting and working with media, especially the print ready press release as I’m a devil for just sending a personal email to journalists I know.

I love the ‘Always say yes’ tip. It’s so easy to be shy or not jump at important opportunities. If we don’t grab them someone else will and we’ll have lost our chance.
