Secret To Blogging Success Do you want to know the secret to blogging success?

Google the topic and you will find much advice written on the secret(s) to a successful blog.  While catchy headlines, compelling content and interesting images all play key roles in making your blog successful, I believe that the number one secret to blogging success is simply to keep on blogging.

One of the criteria for judging the best blogs in Blog Awards Ireland is to determine if a blogger maintains a consistent blogging schedule.  In the case of last year’s winners, they all did.  While their blogging schedule varied from daily to twice weekly, or weekly, they all maintained a consistent blogging pattern.

Now we understand that many blogs start off  in a blaze of enthusiasm which can get burned out as the weeks and months pass by. Some of the common reasons we hear for not blogging regularly are:

I don’t know what to write about

I’ve run out of blog ideas

I don’t have time

I keep putting it off

I don’t get many comments – is anyone even reading my blog?

We understand these concerns and we strive to provide solutions both here on the Write on Track blog, in person with our clients and during our regular #BlogChatIE Twitter chats.

If you need a reminder of how to tackle  the most common stumbling blocks when it comes to business blogs, you will find links to our most popular blog posts on the topic below:

How to get more comments on your blog

10 tips for great blogging

And if you haven’t already done so, nominate (or enter your own) favourite business blog(s) in this year’s Blog Awards Ireland. Nominations close 31st July.

Good Luck!
